The increased focus and need for climate impact and risk data means that infrastructure investors must quantify the emissions, transition risk and exposure to physical risks of all their investments. That said, it is important to recognize the challenges:

  • Collating emission and physical risk data from diverse investments in a portfolio can be complicated due to potential data unavailability and variations in quality and consistency as not all investee firms may report data comprehensively.
  • Emissions calculated using different methodologies can produce significantly different results for the same asset types making it inaccurate to aggregate over the portfolio.
  • Aggregating data from diverse investments with varying reporting periods, currencies, and units can be cumbersome.

In this webinar, by taking you through the step-by-step process using a sample infrastructure investment portfolio, we will present the data and solutions that EDHEC Infra & Private Assets developed to effectively address these challenges.

Using a real-world example, we also will present our solutions to quantify the physical risks for individual investments across different climate scenarios and the financial cost of these risks. These solutions not only enable infrastructure investors to meet ESG reporting requirements in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) but also provide valuable quantitative insights for robust risk management.

Join us on 1st November, 9:00am, GMT, for this webinar to gain valuable insights and learn more about the robust solutions for effectively navigating climate impact and risks measurement and reporting challenges.
